Drumming Circle
The Drumming Circle affinity group will meet on Friday nights at 7 PM. Check the calendar for dates. Everyone who has a drum should bring it, if not, bring a kitchen pot and a wooden spoon. We will start by Honoring the Directions, a pagan ritual and a Native American ritual. We plan to be done by 8:30. If you don't know how to drum, Kelley can teach that. It will be fun.

UUs in the Workplace
We are a gathering of all sorts of folks — fully employed, under employed, unemployed, and between assignments. Regardless of our status in the workplace, we have chosen to spend our time together to create a safe and comfortable space for each other. The purpose of this group is to share our knowledge and experience gathered over the years to help each other sort out the complex challenges facing all working people today.
Unlike much touted networking groups, the UUs in the Workpace group won't insist you prepare an "elevator speech," although that might happen along the way. Rather, we hope to help each other to deal with the hopes, fears, and anxieties we all face as we plot our way forward in our careers. We purposefully practice careful listening and deep understanding in our time together. While we are not a networking group, we will be using some of the classic practices found in some networking groups, like reviewing each others' resumes or sharing insights into various employers and possble job opportunities.
