First Parish Unitarian UniversalistGroups
First Parish has many groups with varied focus and length of commitment to fit the interests of our diverse congregation. New groups are formed depending on the interest of our members and friends.
Following are some of the groups that exist, are about to begin in January, or can be formed:
- Covenant Groups are ongoing groups of approximately eight people, designed to help us build stronger relationships with each other and strengthen the fabric of the congregational community of which we are all a part.
- Discussion/Discovery Groups meet for a predetermined number of
sessions to discuss a topic of interest.
- Discussion: Holy Evolution!
- Discovery: Stephen Levine's Book, A Year to Live
- Affinity Groups can be formed by and for people with common interests of any kind. Feel free to be creative!
