Event Details
Spirit Sangha Meditation Group
One Monday remaining: May 19, 7 - 8:30 PM
The Spirit Sangha is reading The Miracles of Mindfulness by Thich Nhat Hanh and will discuss some of the chapters. The group will also use guided meditations from the Insight Meditation CD by Salzburg and Goldstein. There will be silent mediation as well. Parables of Jesus - A Bible Study
One Tuesday remaining: May 20, 7:30 - 9 PM
Jesus was a fantastic story teller. His parables have many layers of meaning, some of them quite timely. The first session will be introductory. We will study one parable for each of the remaining classes. If you don't already own a Bible, the New Oxford Annotated and the New Revised Standard versions are recommended, but if you already own one, please bring it. Led by the minister.
